Agility A1 Open-Source Humanoid Robot Arm
Agility A1 is a fully open-source humanoid robot arm designed for embodied AI research, robot learning, manipulation, teleoperation, and robotics development. Based on the OpenArm open-source platform, it provides an accessible hardware and software environment for universities, research labs, robotics developers, and AI teams.
Fully Open-Source Development Platform
Agility A1 provides open access to mechanical CAD files, PCB schematics, firmware source code, PC control software, and simulation tools. The open architecture supports customization, secondary development, and integration into different robotics research workflows.
7-DoF Robotic Arm
Each arm features 7 degrees of freedom, a 633 mm reach, 5.5 kg arm weight, and up to 6 kg peak payload. The system supports 1 kHz CAN-FD control for responsive real-time motion control.
The actuator system combines DAMIAO 43-series and 8009P motors with cross-roller bearings. Backdrivable joints, gravity compensation, and compliant motion support manipulation, physical interaction, and teleoperation applications.
Optional ExoArm-7 Teleoperation Arm
The optional ExoArm-7 wearable exoskeleton is designed for teleoperation with the Agility A1. The system maps the operator's arm movements to the robotic arm through electronic signals, enabling real-time motion synchronization and intuitive remote control.
It can be used for teleoperation research, robotic motion data acquisition, imitation learning, and AI training workflows.
