The Xpeng Iron is a full-size humanoid robot from Xpeng Robotics, standing 178 cm and weighing 70 kg with an industry-leading 82 degrees of freedom including 22-DOF dexterous hands per arm.

Powered by three proprietary Turing AI chips delivering a combined 3,000 TOPS — among the highest of any humanoid — and running Xpeng's VLA 2.0 vision-language-action AI with 720° perception coverage. A 110,000 m² dedicated factory in Guangzhou targets late 2026 mass production. Enterprise pricing is estimated at approximately $150,000, with initial deployments planned for Xpeng's own facilities and Baosteel industrial inspection.

At 3,000 TOPS from three in-house Turing AI chips, Xpeng Iron leads the humanoid field in on-device compute power. The VLA 2.0 model enables end-to-end vision-to-action reasoning. The 22-DOF hand design rivals specialized manipulation platforms. Xpeng's automotive supply chain — producing 300,000+ EVs annually — provides shared components for motors, battery cells, sensors, and compute hardware, creating a structural cost advantage. The all-solid-state battery improves energy density and safety over conventional lithium-ion.
